Ways to use an iPad in the cockpit

Of late, there's been a lot of discussion about using an iPad in the cockpit at PFC. Here are some mounting solutions we've come across:

There is obviously the RAM mounts with various options (yoke mount and suction mount):






The yoke mount isn't nearly as big as it seems. It doesn't obstruct the ability to hold the yoke itself, and since most pilots of average height would be looking down towards it, the mount doesn't obstruct the 6 pack, either. Mounts from http://www.autelcorp.com/ can be converted for iPad use with some velcro, as well.

www.forpilotsonly.com has an interesting (but a bit pricey) kneeboard option, which combines a nice sturdy iPad holder with a small hinged clipboard that doubles as a cover:
